Adoption is widespread. That makes careful selection, oversight and measurement more useful than adding tools for their own sake.
Organisational adoption
Stanford’s 2026 AI Index reports that 88% of surveyed organisations used AI in at least one business function in 2025. The figure describes survey respondents; it is not a measure of successful deployment.

Identify a repeated task, record its current time and error rate, test one tool, and review the result with a responsible person. Keep the tool only if it improves the work.
Keep people accountable
Review AI-assisted work before it reaches customers or informs consequential decisions. Check accuracy, context, data handling and who owns the final decision.
